How fast does Smart Film switch from clear to privacy?
Instant—typically under a second. We demo the switching at install so your team knows what to expect.
Does Smart Film work on my existing glass?
Yes. We retrofit onto existing flat glass. For safety and durability, tempered or laminated glass is preferred. Very curved or textured glass isn’t recommended.
What power does it require?
Low-voltage via a small transformer that connects to standard building power. We review neat cable paths during the site survey and coordinate an electrician if needed.
Can it block heat and UV?
Smart Film blocks most UV and reflects a significant portion of infrared heat. Exact performance depends on film spec and glass type; we’ll match the film to your goals.
Can I use it as a projection screen?
Yes—when frosted, the surface works great for front projection in conference rooms and reception areas.
How do we control it?

What sizes are possible?
Large panes are fine. For oversized glass, we join film in panels; seams are tidy but may be faintly visible on close inspection.

Wipe with non-abrasive cleaners and soft cloths. Avoid scraping edges. Typical warranties run 2–5 years depending on film and environment.
